Ralph Groves, 2026 Candidate of the Libertarian Party of Florida for the 11th Congressional District, commends President Trump on his successes with regard to peacemaking, most recently between Armenia and Azerbaijan, thus bringing peace to the South Caucasus. Candidate Groves also commends President Trump on his earlier peace deals between Cambodia and Thailand, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, India and Pakistan, Egypt and Ethiopia, as well as Serbia and Kosovo. While cessation of hostilities between Ukraine and Russia is still pending, President Trump is certainly worthy of the Nobel Peace Prize for deals already achieved.
Candidate Groves is particularly interested in the peace deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan because, as an Army Major, he served in Armenia with the U.S. Defense Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in 2001 and 2002.

Ralph Groves, 2026 Candidate of the Libertarian Party of Florida for the 11th Congressional District, urges Senators Rick Scott and Ashley Moody to vote in favor of H.R. 1 (The One Big Beautiful Bill) in particular because it curtails funding for abortions. For years, entities within the abortion industry, such as Planned Parenthood, have received Federal funding at taxpayers expense. Taxpayers should not have to subsidize abortions.

Ralph Groves, Libertarian Candidate for Congress, 11th Congressional District, Florida, looks with favor on the prospect of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., running for President on the Libertarian Party line. Kennedy's prospective candidacy as a Libertarian would enable him to benefit from the campaign efforts of many Libertarians. The Libertarian Party would benefit by enhanced recognition by having a famous person on the top of its ticket. In addition to these factors, the electorate would benefits from Kennedy's discussion of issues that the major party candidates are not addressing: our nation's chronic disease epidemic (e.g. diabetes), ecological degradation, forever wars overseas, the $34 trillion national debt, and the lack of affordable housing.

Ralph Groves, 2026 Candidate of the Libertarian Party of Florida for the 11th Congressional District, believes the U.S. Government and our society's culture need to encourage a higher birth rate to prevent a fertility crisis. With a birthrate lower than the replacement rate, the USA will suffer a shortfall of workers and taxpayers in the future, which will impact the solvency of Social Security and Medicare. Immigrants can make up the shortfall, but the countries from which they come are also suffering declining birthrates so the number of immigrants will decline in the future. To correct this problem, our society needs to cultivate a culture of life to promote family formation, which Churches can encourage. In addition, the Government should provide financial incentives to make having children affordable for families and provide assistance to pro-life centers that help women.
